The suspects were apprehended through combined efforts of joint patrol surveillance embarked upon by officers and intelligence personnel of the Command in different locations. The state’s Commissioner of Police (CP) Effiom Emmanuel told newsmen at the Command’s Headquarters in Dutse, that the suspects were among the notorious gang of armed robbery and kidnap syndicates with the assistance of their masters from neighbouring states of Kano, Bauchi, Borno and Adamawa as well as Niger Republic.
