Controversial politician and PDP’s “Mr Fix It”, Chief Anthony Anenih has been appointed as Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority. This was made known in the approval of the Boards of Directors for the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety (NIMASA), and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The appointments were announced via a Thursday night statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
It was contained in the statement that the date for the formal inauguration of members “will be announced in due course.”
Incidentally, Anenih, a former Minister of Works was indicted by a National Assembly Committee over the mismanagement of about N 300 billion
