Power has officially changed hands in the Kwara State house of Assembly as members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the House defected to the All Peoples Congress.
20 out of the 24 members changed camp on Wednesday with the Speaker, Hon Abdulrazak Atunwa leafing the defectors. As it stands now the APC has an overwhelming majority with 22 members while PDP that used to be at the forefront has been boxed into the opposition.
