Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi and his predecessor, Adebayo Alao-Akala have commiserated with one time governor of the state, Rasheed Ladoja over the death of his son.
Ajimobi described the incident as tragic, disheartening, unfortunate and sad.
The governor, in a statement issued in Ibadan on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media said, “it is with deep shock and utter disbelief that I received the death of Adebola, son of my cousin and former Governor Rasheed Ladoja in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Lagos on Thursday.
Akala in his own message said: “It is with a deep sense of shock and loss that I write to commiserate with you on the death of your dear son Mr. Debo Oladoja. It was a great tragedy to lose an offspring, who is in his prime in such a tragic occurrence, it was a painful experience in a parent’s life, but who are we to ask God why?
“In this moment of grief, I share in your pain and fervently pray that God will grant you the fortitude to bear this painful loss, likewise keep and preserve the family he left behind”, he said.
