The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso has approved the appointment of Mr. Kehinde Olusegun Olatokun as the new substantive Bursar of the institution.
Olatokun’s appointment was approved by the Governing Council of LAUTECH at its meeting held on Wednesday.
The appointment takes effect from next Wednesday, and is for a single term of five years.
Olatokun holds a B.Sc Accounting degree (1993) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (2000).
He is a seasoned professional who is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, among others.
Olatokun has an unbroken 30 years post-qualification experience, having served in the Office of the Auditor General of Oyo State, and as Deputy Bursar, OAU, Ile-Ife, as well as pioneer Bursar, First Technical University (now Abiola Ajimobi Technical University), Ibadan.
He was the Deputy Bursar, OAU before his appointment as the new substantive Bursar of LAUTECH.
