A financial risk management expert, Abayomi Ajenifuja, has said “inequitable distribution of the nation’s wealth is responsible for the prevailing economic challenges in the land,” adding that “leaders should stand up for the welfare and well-being of the governed.
Ajenifuja was speaking at the induction of Mr. Bankole Shakirudeen Adeshina, a media practitioner and child rights advocate, as the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Idimu High-Rise, District 9110 Nigeria.
Conducting the exercise, the Governor, Rotary International, District 9110 Governor, Rotarian Bola Oyebade, handed over the Certificate of Incorporation of the Club to the new President.
The event was attended by the Rotary District leadership, including the District Governor-Elect, Rotn Remi Bello, and the District Governor-Nominee, Rotn Omotunde Lawson. It also featured the induction of the Board of Directors and membets of the club, and the unveiling of the club’s Strategic Growth Plans.
The Rotary District Governor said the chartering of the Rotary Club of Idimu High-Rise has increased the statistics of Rotarians in his district, which covers Lagos and Ogun states, by addition 25 more members.
