A passenger train crushed a Lagos state government BRT staff bus at PWD junction in the Ikeja area of the state on Thursday, March 9.
An unspecified number of people are feared dead, while many others sustained various degrees of injuries following the collision.
The incident occurred in Ikeja-Along area on Thursday morning.
According to a source, the train was coming from Agege when it collided with a BRT vehicle carrying Lagos state government workers who were crossing the rail to connect Ikeja GRA.
The accident has caused a traffic congestion on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway for motorists travelling from Oshodi to Ikeja-Along.
