Antonio An unconfirmed number of persons lost their lives in an early morning accident that occurred on Monday. The bus was conveying passengers from Abeokuta, Ogun State, to Lagos when it crashed in Abule Egba, Lagos. A video from the scene shows many injured passengers sitting or lying on the road. People are heard screaming as onlookers gather around the bus to help those inside. It was alleged that the bus driver and a passenger were having an argument and this caused the driver to lose concentration, thereby losing control of the vehicle. A Twitter user with the nickname, Agba Content Designer, said that she barely escaped being crushed by the bus. She wrote: “A bus carrying passengers from Abeokuta somersaulted and crashed into the BRT fence The bus turned over. Driver bleeding People are badly injured I was standing there, I was by the wall a minute ago.” She added: “Pleaseeeee ambulanceeeee.
