Multiple explosions rocked Galadiman, Kogo area, near Shiroro dam in Shiroro Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger state, on Tuesday, January 24.
The explosion happened around 12 pm on Tuesday.
Although security officials are yet to confirm the incident, a resident of the affected area noted that many people were killed during the incident.
Also, the affected areas are not yet accessible due to fear of further possible explosions, according to Politics Nigeria.
This incident comes less than a year after four officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were killed in a bomb blast in the same community.
It is worth noting that terrorists, on Friday, January 20, killed Saleh Yakubu, the councillor representing Allawa ward in the same Shiroro LGA.
