Conor McGregor’s alleged rape victim has changed her story after accusing the UFC star of rape, fuelling more interest from different quarters, even as the case is been investigated by the Miami Police Department,(Miami PD)
McGregor, who is expecting his fourth child with his fiancée, was accused of rape – forcing the unidentified accuser to perform oral sex on him and attempting to sodomize her in the VIP men’s bathroom at Game 4 of the NBA Finals last week in Miami.
But the latest video showing his alleged rape victim changes her story as she’s seen in new footage following the UFC ( Ultimate Fighting Championship) star willingly after claiming he ‘forced her into bathroom,’ cast a shadow on the genuiness of his accuser’s claims.
The woman’s attorney provided letters she issued to McGregor’s team, the Miami Heat, and the Kaseya Center, where the alleged incident occurred.
The accuser was also said to have reported her claims to Miami Police on Wednesday, while was handing over a bag of clothes that she said contains McGregor’s DNA.
Now, TMZ has obtained a video that shows Conor McGregor taking his rape accuser by the hand and leading her into a bathroom where she says he sexually assaulted her.
The video voyage contains the bathroom conversation of the duo.
The footage, obtained by TMZ Sports, was reportedly shot at around 12:40 a.m. on June 10 inside the Kaseya Center in Miami (roughly half an hour or so after the woman claims he attacked her inside of a bathroom following Game 4 of the NBA Finals)
But earlier this week the accuser’s lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, sent a demand letter claiming NBA and Miami Heat security “physically forced” the accuser into the restroom, where McGregor proceeded to rape her while security refused to let her exit or allow her friend to come into the bathroom with her.
However, the accuser’s attorney originally said he had ‘forced’ her into the bathroom, with the help of his security.
But after the release of the video, she issued an updated statement saying the woman thought she was being led out of the venue to go to the Four Seasons.
‘My client believed they were leaving, but instead Conor took her into the restroom,’ attorney Ariel Mitchell sai
It went on to claim that he ‘trapped’ her in there – then forced himself on her
‘Mr. McGregor then appeared from inside the handicapped stall and shoved his tongue in the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her,’ according to the legal letter.
But, McGregor has been adamant that the woman’s claims are “no more than a shakedown.”
Reacting to the new update, Conor McGregor’s attorney, Barbara R. Llanes, Gelber Schachter & Greenberg, P.A., told TMZ Sports … “After the video was released by TMZ, the claimant’s lawyer now has changed her story. Mr. McGregor welcomes the investigation, which he firmly believes will show the claims against him are false.
After not responding to the demand for money made by the claimant’s counsel, she turned to the media to apply pressure. This is no more than a shakedown.”
The Miami PD has been investigating the allegations since Sunday.
But many who followed the controversial claims by an unknown woman have condemned the entire saga, saying that the woman involved should have been named publicly.
Others reacted that the change in her account may be a pointer that she was cooking something against the UFC star.
