A man who attempted to dump a calabash at Parjay’s Flavour, a restaurant and pool in the Dopemu district of Lagos State, on Tuesday, April 26, was apprehended by a mob.
The man whose name is being withheld revealed that he was sent to cause mayhem in the lounge by a nearby hotel called ‘Murphy Moore’, according to an eyewitness.
“This happened in Dopemu around 8 pm on April 26, 2022, in a restaurant and pool outfit called Parjay’s Flavour.
“It is opposite Justrite in that area.
“A man was caught trying to throw a pot of calabash containing ‘juju’ into the newly opened pool of the restaurant.
“As he was trying to throw the calabash into the restaurant over the wall, the calabash fell back and broke on the floor.
“When he was caught by the boys in the area, he revealed that he was working for Murphy Moore Hotel.
“According to him, the hotel has a shrine in it.
“To prove he was actually working with the restaurant, the tricycle (Maruwa) he drove to perpetrate this evil act, belongs to the Murphy Moore hotel.”
The operatives of the Lagos State Police Command were notified, and the culprit is presently in their custody.
