The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have launched a fresh attack on the enclave of Zamfara bandit leader, Bello Turji.
The notorious bandit narrowly escaped aerial bombardment on his home, Saturday afternoon of September 17.
A source said that the fighter jet returned to the area around 9 am on Monday, September 19, dropping at least two bombs, The Witness reports.
Bandits however suspected to be from Turji’s camp launched an assault on travelers along Sokoto-Gusau road in Shinkafi, Monday morning of September 19.
A resident of Shinkafi, Murtala Wadatau, said the armed men blocked the road at Kwanar Badarawa and Birnin Yero.
