A Director with National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Abdu Isa Kofa Mata was reportedly killed in the terrorists attack on the Abuja-Kaduna passengers train on Monday night, March 28, 2022.
Kano Focus reports that Abdu Isa Kofa Mata was among the over 970 passengers on the train when it was attacked.
Many passengers are still missing even as families of passengers have expressed anxiety over the whereabouts of some of their relations.
The deceased will be buried in Kano as the funeral prayer would hold upon arrival with the corpse from Kaduna.
Kofar Mata holds an M.sc in Management, an MBA and an SME Diploma from Galilee Israel.
He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and an associate member of National Institute of Marketing.
The late 55-year-old Director survived with four children and a wife and had previously worked at Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN).
The Street Journal had earlier reported the death of a young medical doctor, Chinelo Megafu, who died from injuries sustained during the terror attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train.
