NNPCL announces N5.4trn net profit, reaffirms commitment to transparency, commercial growth

    The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) announced on Monday, November 24, that it recorded a net profit of N5.4 trillion for the financial year ending December 2024 reaffirming its commitment to transparency and commercial growth.

    The NNPC Ltd’s Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Bayo Ojulari, said the release of the audited financial statement demonstrates the company’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

    He stated, “The 2024 financial results were unveiled today, showing a profit after tax of N5.4 trillion.

    “This journey began in 2021 with the passage of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), which transformed NNPC into a limited liability company.

    “Our engagement today is deliberate.

    “It reflects our ongoing focus on operating as a fully commercial, limited liability company, as envisioned under the PIA.”
