According to the State Councils, the Muslims are to be always faithful to internalise the lessons learnt during the Ramadan fast. Comrades Dauda Iliya and Rajab Mohammed, in separate statements, yesterday, in Maiduguri and Damaturu, disclosed that the Muslims should use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to offer prayers for the full restoration of peace in insurgency affected states. Iliya and Mohammed also noted that the sustenance of security and peace could ensure economic growth and developments in the two states. They, therefore, urged the Muslim faithful to pray for the success of leaders by supporting them accordingly for their collective good to improve living conditions. Iliya also called for sober reflections and unity of the people, irrespective of their political and religious affiliations.
