. Recover 22 stolen vehicles
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Ogun State Police Command recently gave a monthly report in which it stated that in the last one month, it has apprehended21 armed robbers while 4 were killed in gun battles with policemen. The Police PRO of the Ogun State command, Muyiwa Adejobi who reeled out the achievements of the squad in the last one month also added that 22 exotic cars were recovered from members of syndicates who specialize in snatching vehicles and driving them across the border to other countries.
Adejobi made it known in a statement he issued that many dangerous weapons including AK-47 assault rifles, pump action rifles and live ammunition were recovered from the robbers.
While stating that those already in police net will soon appear in court, he emphasized the readiness of the command to combat any form of criminality, particularly during the “ember” period.
