Pix: Twitter .Gov submits another list of commissioner-nominees The Oyo State House of Assembly, yesterday, granted the request of Governor Seyi Makinde to access N50 billion revolving overdraft for the development of recurrent and capital expenditures in the state. The approval was sequel to a request letter sent to the House by the governor and read at the plenary by the Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin. The facility is for a period of 45 months at a concessionary rate of 25.1 per centyearly. This is subject to review in line with the prevailing money market conditions. Also, the Assembly, yesterday, acknowledged and announced names of two more commissioner-nominees forwarded to it by Makinde. The names are a Lanlate-born Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi, and Dr. OluwaserimiAdewumiAjetunmobi. The Speaker read the governor’s letter for the screening and confirmation of the nominees during the House plenary. The governor said the two personalities had been considered worthy of appointment as commissioners by the state government. Ogundoyin said there are still some ministries that are yet to have commissioners, adding that the new commissioner-nominees would soon be screened by the House.
