Bashir El-Rufai, son to Nasir El-Rufai the governor of Kaduna state, got married to his fiancée Halima Nwakego Kazaure, the daughter of Ibrahim Kazaure, former Senator from Jigawa State. The event took place in Abuja, on Saturday, November 21.
Bashir took to his social media page on Saturday to share a loved-up photo of himself and his beautiful bride.
“We did it, my Nwakaego,” he wrote in a post accompanying the photo.

The wedding ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries including Senate President; Ahmad Lawan, former Emir of Kano; Muhammadu Sanusi II, former Senate President; Bukola Saraki, Jigawa State Governor; Badaru Abubakar, Yobe State Governor; Mai Mala Buni, Minister of Science and Technology; Ogbonnaya Onu and a host of others.
