The PDP governors, who donated N100 million to help cater to the victims of the attacks, said having state police will help stem the tide of the recurring security challenges bedevilling the country. The chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and governor of Bauchi State, Bala Muhammed, stated this when the forum paid Mutfwang a solidarity visit in Government House, Rayfield, Jos, over the recent security breach in some communities of the state, which claimed scores of lives and destroyed property and means of livelihood of residents. Muhammed said: “We commiserate with you and the people of Plateau State and also extend our heartfelt condolences over the recent unfortunate incidents that claimed many lives and properties. “We are saddened by these happenings, and we are praying that these incidents will be checkmated.
