President Goodluck Jonathan has intensified efforts towards galvanizing support from the Christian community in Nigeria as he stormed the Sunday service at the Winners Chapel, Otta in Ogun for worship.Jonathan while addressing members of the church urged Nigerians to pray pray for the success and peaceful conduct of the February General election.
Jonathan, during the service, admitted that the country was going through some challenges, noting that the situation would have been worse but for prayers of Nigerians.
Despite fears and predictions about the coming elections, he said he was sure that God will take control of the situation.
He commended the founder of the Winners chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo for his commitment to God’s work and education in the country.
Bishop Oyedepo led a prayer session for the President during which the congregation prayed for grace to meet the demands of his office.
