A museum has been founded by a clinical psychologist, Samuel West in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The museum is named Museum of Failure by it founder who stated that he was focused on helping organisations to be more innovative.
The museum features a collection of failed products and services. It is a museum that celebrates bad ideas, silly designs and overhyped products that never really took off.
It houses more than 150 items the founder considers commercial flops.
The items range from a famous Soviet car, to the now-discontinued Segway scooters, to a massive set of metal-tipped darts – a lawn game that used to be sold to kids.
According to West, the goal of the museum is to help people recognize the need to accept failure if progress is to be achieved and to emphasize to companies to learn more from their failures without resorting to cliches.
