The House of Representatives has asked President Bola Tinubu to direct the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, to unfreeze all accounts belonging to the National Social Investment Programmes Agency, NSIPA, within 72 hours.
The resolution was adopted by the lower legislative chamber during plenary session on Tuesday.
Recall that in January, President Tinubu suspended all administered programmes by the NSIPA.
The President also suspended Halima Shehu from her position as Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of NSIPA over allegations of financial misconduct.
Additionally, Betta Edu was suspended from her role as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
