The immediate past Minister for Transportation Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi may have just found a perfect retirement plan after his disastrous outing at the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, where he was an aspirant and his inability to secure victory for his anointed gubernatorial candidate, Tonye Cole, on the same party platform in Rivers State.
Judging by his recent activities, the former governor of Rivers State may likely end up becoming an active player in the Lord’s vineyard and he is doing everything possible to consolidate on that plan with the release of his second gospel single.
The single, Responsorial Psalm is accompanied with a video which features his wife, Judith alongside the Obliblo Music Crew.
The single which was produced, mixed and mastered by Obliblo Music Production was released to coincide with his 58th birthday celebration.
Recall that in 2021, Amaechi had tested the waters with the release of a gospel music video, Psalm 33: Blessed The People The Lord Has Chosen As His Heritage, to coincide with his 56th birthday celebrations.
The single was also mixed, mastered and produced by Obliblo Music Production. However, he was unable to take it further as he allegedly got busy in his quest to see Hadiza Bala Usman, the erstwhile managing director of Nigeria Ports Authority, NPA, booted out of office as well as his dream to see his presidential bid come to pass.
For this reason, no gospel single was released to coincide with his 57th birthday celebrations.
Perhaps now that he is out of office and has allegedly exhausted all of his political capital, it just may be a good time to take his singing in the Lord’s vineyard more passionately.
