Barnabas Otu, a newly admitted Urban and Regional Planning student of the Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH, has drowned, hours after his matriculation.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Monday in the swimming pool of a hotel located at Akai Efa, Calabar, where the students had gone for their matriculation party.
