At least two persons were kidnapped, on Thursday evening, July 28, after some terrorists attacked Chida community in the Kwali area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The council has been hit by terrorists for at least three times in the past 14 days, with one of the attacks leading to the shutdown of Federal Government College (FGC), Kwali, The Witness reports.
It was learnt that a couple, one Mr. Sunday Odoma Ojarume and Mrs. Janet Odoma Ojarume, were abducted at Sheda village in Kwali area council, on Sunday, July 24.

The school authorities had reached out to parents to evacuate their children to prevent mass abduction as terrorists had threatened to attack the school.
Shortly after this, the federal government, on Wednesday, July 27, ordered closure of all schools in the nation’s capital.
According to a resident of Chida community, Dangana Musa, a bus driver alongside his conductor were abducted in the latest attack, which occurred on Thursday evening, July 28.
Musa said the driver identified as Atazamu Azaki and his conductor, Ayuba John, went to carry charcoal at a farm in the area when the terrorists broke in.
He noted that the terrorists, who wielded sophisticated weapons whisked the duo away at gunpoint, but later released John, who was asked to go and inform the family members of the bus driver about the abduction.
“It was after they trekked some distance that the kidnappers released the conductor and asked him to go home and inform the family of the driver to raise money for ransom,” Musa said.
Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command is yet to verify this incident at the time of filing this report.
