Tijjani also said that parents spent quality time to teach their children family values because they now had time with their families at home, thanks to the lockdown.
“During the lockdown, some men were seen helping their wives cook, wash; and assisting with general house chores, thereby making their spouses happy.
“Some took time to teach their children cultural values, which brought joy and happiness to many homes; meaning that something good came out of the lockdown,” she said.
Tijjani, a peace ambassador and interfaith specialist, urged married men and women to always make out time to stay with their partners.
“The lockdown has come with some advantages that we must all strive to nurture so as to help maintain a peaceful society in Nigeria,” she said.
Tijjani expressed optimism that there will be many newborn babies in the next year due to the lockdown, which had increased intimacy between couples.
