Tinubu cancels Ogun trip, to visit Plateau on Thursday over killings

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday April 1, called off his scheduled trip to Iperu, Ogun State and will instead visit Jos, the Plateau State capital to commiserate with the government and people of the state over the recent gun attacks, which claimed the lives of innocent citizens.

The president was expected to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.

In a statement signed by the president’s Special Adviser on Strategy and Information, Bayo Onanuga, he said, “From Jos, the President will travel to Lagos to observe Good Friday, before flying to Ogun state on Saturday, April 4.

“Before returning to Abuja, President Tinubu will visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission some of Governor Duoye Diri’s completed projects.”
