Tinubu picks APC nomination form to contest 2027 presidential election

    President Bola Tinubu has picked the All Progressives Congress  (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest the 2027 presidential election.

    The forms were picked on the president’s behalf on Tuesday by the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke.

    The APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, presented the documents to Faleke at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

    Faleke, who is also the founder of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSGs), completed the purchase of the forms valued at ₦100 million, formally signalling the start of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

    Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced key dates for the 2027 general election. Presidential and National Assembly elections were scheduled for January 16, 2027, while governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections will take place on February 6, 2027.
