Toddler rescued from collapsed 2 storey building in Lagos following heavy down pour

    Seven occupants including a one-year-old baby girl, have been rescued from a collapsed two storey building at number 12 Cameroun Street, off Ewenla, Mushin area of Lagos State, following the heavy downpour on Wednesday.

    The rescued victims have been rushed to a hospital for treatment.

    According to an eye eyewitness, the unfortunate incident happened around10 am, during the early morning downpour in the state.

    Presently, emergency responders, including Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Building Control Agency, Police, and others are on ground to recue victims as well as maintain peace and order.
