Nollywood actresses and movie producers, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele have sheathed their warring swords and embraced peace.
Toyin was recently spotted selling tickets for Funke’s new movie, Battle on Bukka Street at the cinema.
The supremacy battle between the two came to a head last year when Iyabo Ojo revealed that some people were paid by Funke to rubbish Toyin Abraham’s movie, The Ghost and the Tout.
She noted that Funke will only start to experience inner peace when she stops discrediting the works of her fellow colleagues.
Funke had also released her movie, Omo Ghetto at at about the same time Toyin released hers. The two films premiered the same day and while many applauded Funke’s movie, not a few rubbished Toyin’s movie.
However, Toyin has put the past behind to embrace peace.
She was spotted at the Imperial Cinema in Osogbo, Osun State while trying to promote her own film, Ijakumo which premiered a week after Battle On Buka Street premiered.
A video which surfaced online captured the moment the mother of one helped to sell tickets for Funke’s new movie while promoting her own movie too.
The act has since been applauded by fans who praised the actress for being the bigger person.
