Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr Monday Dabit told the court that the case was reported on Feb. 17, at the Anglo-Jos Police station by Mr Ajah Aquah the complainant. Dabit said that the convict broke into the shop and destroyed the entrance door worth N15,000 with the intention to steal from the provision shop before he was caught. The prosecutor said the offence is punishable under sections 336, 313 and 57 of the Plateau state penal code law.
