The Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba has ruled that Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of the Peoples’ Democratic was validly elected in the January 6th 2011 re-run elections held in Delta State. The Federal High Court in Asaba had earlier ruled that Uduaghan’s opponent, Chief Great Ogboru was not qualified to contest the election. The ruling was however rejected by the Tribunal.
