Portugal and Real Madrid striker, Christiano Ronaldo has been
named the UEFA Best Player for the 2013/14 season.
He was chosen ahead of German goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer and
Dutch winger, Argen Robben.
While speaking as he accepted the award, Ronaldo said, “I’m really, really happy. I have to say thank you to my team-mates, because without the team individual awards are impossible.”
