The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has appointed former national publicity secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, as one of his spokespersons for the party’s presidential campaign.
The former vice-president, confirmed the appointment in a statement released by his media aide, Paul Ibe, on Thursday, October 6.
Atiku had earlier appointed Daniel Bwala, Dino Melaye, and Charles Aniagwu, as spokespersons for his presidential campaign.
Ologbondiyan will join other spokespersons earlier appointed by Atiku to project the unique selling points of the PDP presidential candidate and keep the electorate updated about the campaign activities.
He was the party’s national publicity secretary from December 2017 to December 2021.
Ologbondiyan served as the director of media and publicity, PDP presidential campaign council, during the 2019 presidential election.
He was also the special adviser (media and publicity) to former president of the senate, Senator David Mark, between 2007 to 2015, according to The Cable.
