The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has alerted the general public that one Ali Jamal, whose photograph has been circulated by the Commission, is no longer a staff of the agency.
In a disclaimer signed by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity, the EFCC stressed that Jamal has no authority to represent or conduct any business on behalf of the Commission.
“The public is hereby notified that Ali Jamal whose photograph appears above is no longer a staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and has no authority to represent it or carry out any business in the name of the Commission. The public is advised not to deal with him as the Commission will not be liable for any activity traced to him,” the statement read.
The anti-graft agency, therefore, urged Nigerians to exercise caution and avoid any transactions with Jamal, warning that anyone dealing with him does so at their own risk.
