FG halts planned petrol subsidy removal indefinitely

    The government had planned to stop subsidy payments on petroleum products from July this year.

    Zainab Ahmed, minister of finance, budget, national planning, said this during a meeting held at the national assembly on Monday, 24 January, in Abuja, VeraCity reports.

    The meeting was attended by Ahmad Lawan, president of the senate; Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources; Mele Kyari, group managing director, NNPC Limited.
