Gunmen have struck again in Kwara state, abducting two Chinese nationals on Monday.
The incident took place when they were working on the BUA Bode Saadu-Kaiama-Kosubosu road project in Ejidongari community, Moro local government area.
Witnesses reported that the gunmen arrived at the site, firing shots into the air before abducting the expatriates.
The Kwara state commissioner of police, Adekimi Ojo, confirmed the abduction on Friday.
“It is true that they were abducted from the construction site, they are working with BUA,” he said.
