“We advise all employees, professors, and students of American universities in the region, as well as residents of surrounding areas, to stay at least one kilometre away from campuses.”

Several U.S universities have campuses across the Gulf region, including Texas A&M University in Qatar and New York University in the United Arab Emirates.(UAE).

Strikes carried out overnight from Friday to Saturday hit Tehran, including the University of Science and Technology in the northeast of the capital, damaging buildings but causing no reported casualties.
