Ogun security outfit nabs three for robbing gas company

    The Ogun state government security outfit, known as ‘So-Safe Corps,’ has arrested a-three-man armed robbery gang, who specialize in burgling warehouses in the state.

    The So-Safe Commander, Soji Ganzallo, issued a statement which threw light on the incident revealed that, officers of the corps at Igere Post, were on  a routine patrol  when they intercepted the robbery gang.

    The head of the security outfit said that the gang burgled one Power Gas Company in Igere, Opic Estate, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

    A statement by the corps spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, on behalf of commander identified the three suspects ,one of whom it said was living around Badagry Expressway, Lagos and another around Igere Ihunsa Community, Opic Estate, where the company is situated.

    The statement also noted  that the suspects were caught after they had successfully burgled the said company.

    He assured that efforts are ongoing to arrest other members of the gang who had been declared wanted.

    He said that items recovered from the gang include a cabin lorry marked SMK334XD, with an inscription, ‘Chijioke’, on the front, assorted iron fibres, one aluminium door, and some iron pipes were recovered from the suspects.G

    Ganzallo said the suspects and the items recovered had been transferred to the Police in Agbara Area Command for detailed investigation which would be followed by prosecution.
