Jerry Eze widely known as ‘Pastor Jerry Eze’, founder and lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, has maintained his position as Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTuber for the second consecutive year.
In August 2024, reports showed that Eze’s YouTube channel earned an impressive N7.81 billion during a specific period, securing his top spot.
According to global data analytics platform that ranks YouTube channels, Eze also commands the highest live viewership in Nigeria, averaging 282,451 viewers per live stream.
His channel, affiliated with Streams of Joy International, which has over 16 branches across Nigeria, the UK, South Africa, Canada, and the US, now boasts 2.87 million subscribers and more than 2,900 uploaded videos.
In 2025 alone, the pastor’s digital prayer platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), attracted 80 million viewers.
It was revealed that Eze earns an estimated N1.94 million daily, N7.95 million over the past 24 hours, and N47.7 million in the past week, bringing his cumulative revenue to N10.71 billion despite fluctuations from foreign exchange rates.
Subscriber numbers have grown from 2.12 million to 2.87 million, reflecting significant audience engagement.
Eze’s position as the highest-earning YouTuber stems largely from his status as Nigeria’s most ‘Super Chatted’ content creator.
Super Chat, introduced by YouTube in January 2020, allows viewers to pay to highlight messages during live streams.
These messages remain pinned for a set time, generating income for creators, who receive 70% of revenue from Super Chats.
For Eze, these contributions are a major source of income, as viewers frequently use them to spotlight prayer requests and testimonies during live sessions.
It was noted that the Abia-born pastor’s channel generates over N7 million daily, with the majority of revenue coming from live-streamed content.
Their methodology analyzes millions of data points daily, including subscriber activity, video engagement, and content reaching over 5,000 views.
YouTubers generally earn from multiple streams, including ads, sponsorships, merchandise, channel memberships, Super Chats, Super Stickers, YouTube Premium, affiliate marketing, and donations.
A history and international relations graduate from Abia State University (ABSU), Eze launched his channel on November 21, 2019.
Since then, it has grown into a global digital hub for prayer, amassing over 643 million lifetime views.
His NSPPD platform records daily miraculous testimonies, from healings to revivals of the dead.
Eze began his ministry in 2009 while pastoring at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, North Carolina, US.
He is known for the tagline, ‘What God cannot do does not exist.’
It was added that the top five highest-earning YouTube channels in Nigeria are all faith-based.
Alongside Eze, they include ”Paul S. Joshua’s’ channel, Dunamis TV, Celebration TV, and Rev. Sam Oye’s channel.
These channels have continued to see growth in both subscribers and revenue in 2025, mirroring Eze’s surge.
