The acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Olukayode Egbetokun, is currently in a crucial meeting with members of the Police Management Team at the Goodluck Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Egbedokun pledged an improved welfare for police officers, even as he stressed his commitment to improved interagency collaboration between the police and other security agencies.
The senior police officers present at the ongoing meeting are those from the ranks of Deputy Inspectors-General of Police, Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, and Commissioners of Police, amongst others.
