Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has said the three girls, Timilehin Olusa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan and Deborah Akinayo, who were abducted from their classroom at about 9:30pm on Monday, February 29, during prep by gunmen numbering about 15, from Babington Macurley Junior Seminary School (BMJS), Ikorodu, Lagos and rescued early hours of Sunday, were hale and hearty.
He also said from observation, the girls were not molested by the kidnappers.
It was learnt that some of the kidnappers were arrested.
However, it is not yet clear how they were rescued.
